Executive Committee



Section 1 The Executive Committee shall consist of:

President, First Vice-President, Two Vice-Presidents, Immediate Past President, Treasurer, Editor, Honourary Secretary, and Chair of Young BPW committee (or Provincial representative of Young BPW ). (amended 2000)

Section 2 When the Government of Ontario introduces legislation, which would affect the status of women, the Organization's position on the issue shall be conveyed to the Government of Ontario by the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall be empowered to take whatever action is necessary to determine and quickly convey the Organization's position on the issue to the Government of Ontario. The Executive Committee shall immediately advise the Clubs of the position and the action taken.

Section 3 In the event of a Provincial election, the Board of Directors will strike an Ad Hoc Committee to develop a package of election issues of concern to Business and Professional Women for use at the club and riding level.
